This case is based on a publicly released case. You’ll get to investigate a domain-wide compromise involving a multi-stage intrusion that began when a user executed a malicious file disguised as a tax-related document. The attacker deployed several implants, performed extensive discovery, moved laterally to critical servers, harvested credentials from system memory and application databases, and ultimately exfiltrated a large volume of data from internal file shares.
